His success extends to retail banking assets, recovery, and collections. As a leader in banking sales teams, he consistently delivered outstanding results at institutions like HDFC Bank LTD, HSBC, Commercial Bank International, Mashreq Bank, and Noor Bank until January 2019. Rafi holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Calicut and an MBA in Finance from Bangalore University, awarded in 2001.
